Q. Is your course ISPQ/IREC accredited?
A. Our 5 Day Solar Photovoltaic Entry Level Design and Installation Course is ISPQ/IREC Accredited and it responds to the requirements of the PA Sunshine Program.



Q. Can I get on the PA Sunshine Program List after having taken your 5 Day Accredited Course?
A. Yes, after successfully graduating from our 5 Day Accredited Course, you can apply to become an eligible PV Installer and be included on the PA Sunshine Program List.



Q. I need CEU for my license renewal; do your courses provide Continuing Education Credits?
A. Yes, The EEC is a Continuing Education Provider for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Our Electrical and Solar courses are good towards Continuing Education.



Q. Are there any prerequisites to take the Solar Courses?
A. While there are no set prerequisites to take the Solar Courses, we do expect our students to have basic algebra and geometry preparation. Professionals that do not have electrical background may experience difficulties learning the material and are advised to employ licensed electricians in order to complete solar projects.



Q. Are there any prerequisites to take the Electric Courses?
A. One needs to be employed as an electrician or have electrical background in order to take our Electric Courses. Our Electric Courses are not entry level and will not cover basic electric theory.



Q. What do I need to bring when taking a course?
A. You need a pen/pencil and a notepad if you want to take additional notes. A binder with information will be provided in class and it is yours to keep for future reference.



Q. How often do you have your classes?
A. Refer to our class schedule on this website. Another way to stay on top of things is to add yourself to our e-mailing list on the front page. When we schedule additional courses or announce changes in the schedule - we send an e-mail out to everybody that opted in.
