Description

Find out the correct methods to size the branch circuit conductors, overcurrent protection as well as overload protection and disconnect sizes. The information presented in this class will go a long way in making the troubleshooting methods a lot easier to understand. What is service factor, when do I use the nameplate FLA, when do I use the FLA from the NEC motor tables, what are the special considerations for fire pump motor circuits, how do I size a feeder and the branch circuits for a multiple motor installation and much more will be covered during this information-packed presentation.



Some of the topics covered in this eight-hour class on motors will include:  branch circuits, conductor ampacity, motor controllers, overload protection, fuse and circuit breaker protection, group installations, locating of disconnects, 110.26 clearances, motor control centers, and much more will be explained.
