OSHA 10 Safety Training
June 10-11, 2020
1:00pm - 6:30pm each day
The OSHA 10 class is certified for all 50 states. In addition to that, the State of New Jersey also awards 10 CEUs towards NJ electrical contractor license renewal.
Here are the new requirements for the OSHA 10 Safety Training:
All workers directly performing construction or demolition activities for which permits have been issued are required to complete OSHA 10 Safety Training or an approved equivalent. (Philadelphia Code, Title 4, Subcode A, Section A-1004.4).
This requirement applies to ALL employees of licensed contractors (including plumbing, electrical, fire suppression, and warm-air contractors) AND State-registered Home Improvement Contractors.
Workers will be required to furnish proof of required safety training to Department of Licenses and Inspections officials upon request.
Identification of a supervisory employee and proof of training will be required for all new Contractor License applications made after September 30, 2015 and for the renewal of all Contractor Licenses set to expire on or after March 31, 2016.
The Department of Licenses and Inspections will begin strict enforcement of these code requirement for all licensed contractors.
WHAT IS OSHA 10 ANYWAY?
OSHA 10-Hour training is the primary method used to train workers on hazard recognition and OSHA safety standards. OSHA training is NECESSARY for a safe and healthy work environment and for some states, it is a requirement before work can begin.

So you can see there is a lot to talk about and a lot to learn. Come to the Electric Education Center to get the best training available. You can be guaranteed that the training will be related to the electrical construction field and electrical construction activities!
Due to new regulations and class size restrictions by OSHA - these classes will fill quickly. There will be ABSOLUTELY NO WALK-INS or LAST MINUTE REGISTRATIONS.
